Cornet was engaged by the Risk Management department of Visa International (Singapore) to provide a Business Analyst Lead to assist in the capture and analysis of business processes in the department. This analyst is expected to help provide the appropriate solutions to automate as well as increase efficiency and productivity for the users involved.

Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics & Intelligence, the areas of responsibilities of our business analyst lead include:

• Supervision of prototype development
• Process workflow analysis
• Business requirements
• Functional requirements
• Documentation

Using the combination of Visa’s and Cornet’s project methodologies, we have helped to define

• An integrated tracking system that increases the efficiency of their card design application and day-to-day operations using workflow and form management
• Complete audit and control over the process for easy tracking of documentation progress
• Timely reminders to track document progress, issues and reports System routing of request to appropriate parties for approval and action

We also assisted in the requirements gathering and prototype development for a Merchant Monitoring System (MMM). MMM is an exchange of fraud data through a framework that will alert member firms and allow a common platform for discussion and sharing of cases. This enables the easy dissemination of fraud activity data to the Asia-Pacific region.
